The video passive distributor is used for a stub in a riser without affecting the video signal in the system in a negative way. Output and input are built symmetrically. Several indoor stations can be connected to the output of the video passive distributor, if the wire length between the first and last indoor station does not exceed 10 m. Eine Parallelschaltung (gleichzeitiges Klingeln mehrerer Video Innensprechstellen) ist mit dem Videopassivverteiler nicht möglich. Parallel operation (several indoor stations ringing at the same time) is not possible with the video passive distributor. Due to its small measurements it can be built into a flush-mounted box behind the floor bell without any problems. It is possible to install several video passive distributors in a system.
